4Qua Of Orion's Linguistic Exploration of Sumerian Mythology and it's direct connection even today to the Yoruba Language Of W.Africa

In my submission, I propose a nuanced reevaluation of certain terms in Sumerian mythology, specifically challenging the conventional understanding of the term "Nibiru" and its associated entities, such as the Annunaki. The prevailing interpretation often labels Nibiru as a specific planet or asteroid, while I contend that it signifies a spatial zone, not a celestial body per se.

Navigating the intricacies of linguistic expression, I posit that the term "Nibiru" echoes the Yoruba language, where "Nibi" means "The Place" and "Iru" translates to "The Tail" or "The End of." When combined, "Nibi-Iru" could signify the place at the tail or end of something, suggesting a deliberate vagueness or politeness in disclosing a location, reminiscent of saying one is from "north America without pinpointing the exact country, city, street and home address."

The names of key figures in Sumerian mythology, such as Alalu and Anu, present intriguing parallels with Yoruba words. For instance, "Alalu" breaks down into "Alala Ilu" in Yoruba, meaning the Dreamer of Towns or an architect. This semantic connection implies a role akin to a terraformer of planets, aligning with the narrative of Alalu's quest for a solution to Nibiru's atmospheric crisis.

Similarly, "Anu" in Yoruba translates to "Mercy" or "Merciful." This linguistic overlap suggests a profound similarity between the Sumerian figure Anu and the Yoruba concept of a merciful god, as expressed in the term "Alanu."

The exploration extends to the realm of praise poetry or "Oriki" in Yoruba culture, drawing connections with the activities associated with Enki, who is known as the geneticist and father of humanity in Sumerian mythology. "Enki Oriki" in Yoruba, meaning the recitation of ancestral achievements, aligns with the historical context of praise singers attending to Enki in ancient times.

This linguistic analysis seeks to underscore the limitations of interpreting ancient narratives solely through a Eurocentric lens. Drawing attention to the potential biases embedded in the English language and the cultural context it represents, I argue for a more inclusive approach that considers diverse linguistic heritages, such as the rich tapestry of the Yoruba language.

The Yoruba culture is considered to be older than the English culture. The Yoruba people are an ethnic group native to the Yoruba-speaking region in West Africa, primarily in Nigeria. Their history and cultural practices date back thousands of years.

The English culture, on the other hand, refers to the cultural heritage of the people of England, a part of the United Kingdom. While England has a rich history that includes the Anglo-Saxons, Normans, and other influences, the Yoruba culture predates the English culture by a significant margin.

In subsequent sections, I will delve into the breakdown of names like Enlil, Isis, Osiris, Orisha, Ninharsurg, and Nimrod, offering further insights into the intricate linguistic connections that may unveil hidden narratives and perspectives in the annals of human history. This dissertation aims to contribute to a broader understanding of ancient civilizations and challenge prevailing assumptions in the study of archaeology and paleontology.
