The utilisation of zoological imagery in the delineation and portrayal of anthropomorphic attributes within the paradigm of artistic creation finds its nomenclature in the term "zoomorphism."
Zoomorphism, in its essence, entails the ascription of animalesque characteristics or configurations unto entities bereft of zoological essence, notably exemplified in the anthropoid domain.
Artisans, discerning practitioners of the aesthetic craft, frequently avail themselves of this methodological stratagem with the express purpose of imparting discernible qualities, emotive states, or facets of the human essence.
This calculated engagement transpires through a symbiotic and metaphorical alignment with the faunal kingdom, thus affording an experiential avenue for the apprehension and explication of nuanced human proclivities.
This time-honored practice, steeped in the annals of artistic chronicles, manifests as a visual allegory, thereby proffering a nuanced and multivalent arras of elucidations vis-à-vis the thematic content under consideration.
So fam, when artists use pictures of animals or images non so relative to whats's being said or drawn like the brethren wearing a rams mask, or even a golden type of mask ETC every stuff shown is DATA to show how people are like, it's called "zoomorphism."
Instead of just drawing people, they drew them with animal traits or shapes.
Like some sort of ancient CV or Personality profile / Public profile ETC, fully loaded with data, info you feel me?
It was like a short cut for artists who didn't have Photoshop or computer image digital art and stuff to express different qualities or feelings in humans by comparing them to animals nothing woo woo, just basic art which is still being done today, even as you read.
It's something artists have been doing for a long time, and it lets people see and understand what the artist is saying plus get the art in many different ways and on so many different levels,
I thank you for reading, please share where you think this kinda stuff will be appreciated, where they'll get what we're trying to do here, once again cheers !!!
