The Emerald Tablets of Thoth [ Tehuti ] : A Total Blitzkrieg Reinvention, An Obvious Corruption, Plagiarism At Best Or The Usual Theft of Kemetian [ Egyptian ] Wisdom for Abrahamic And European Prestige Global Hegemony Even In So Called WooWoo
The Emerald Tablets of Thoth, publicly available today, are widely revered as the authentic/ profound mystical text supposedly offering ancient Kemetian_Egyptian wisdom.
However, with basic knowledge and intuition or common sense which seems oxymoronic the version of these texts I suggest to you are most likely a European reinvention designed to bolster Western spiritual prestige while distorting and selectively editing key elements.
This distortion is part of a broader historical pattern where European entities adapted non-European spiritual knowledge, rebranding it to suit specific agendas.
The dubious mention of “Atlantis,” the selective erasure of the presence of dark-skinned figures, and warnings Thoth himself is said to have issued against disclosing knowledge to foreign powers, we find a compromised text.
These alterations not only suggest the colonial ideology of the time but have also been exploited by various Western groups, including the Nazis, to create and reinforce harmful racial hierarchies.
I will strongly say the Emerald Tablets in their current modern form are indeed a corrupted text—a European interpretation replete with layers of ideological manipulation.
1. The Dubious Mention of “Atlantis”
The Emerald Tablets reference “Atlantis,” supposedly Thoth's homeland, but this term’s origin and implications suggest an anachronistic insertion.
The term “Atlantis” originates with Plato, the Greek philosopher who introduced the myth in his dialogues Timaeus and Critias. If Thoth, or Tehuti, were truly an Egyptian deity of such antiquity, he would not have used a term coined by a Greek writer almost two millennia later.
In its current spelling and context, “Atlantis” is neither phonetically nor linguistically aligned with any Egyptian vocabulary or mythos.
Egyptologists note no indigenous term equivalent to “Atlantis” within Kemetic/ Egyptian sources from any period, the view that this reference was likely inserted during the Hellenistic or even much later eras is logical.
The mention of “Atlantis” serves a deliberate purpose.
During the 19th and early 20th centuries, European mystics, including Aleister Crowley and various Masonic and Rosicrucian orders, appropriated the Egyptian god Thoth under the Greek name “Hermes Trismegistus,” blending Kemetian_Egyptian and Greek religious ideologies to suit European esoteric tastes.
The emphasis on “Atlantis” as a sacred origin aligned with European mystical visions of a lost utopia, effectively Europeanizing Afrikan_Kemetian_Egyptian myth and affirming a lineage of “Western” wisdom.
This allowed European elites to selectively adopt and re-purpose an idealized version of Egyptian mysticism, all while reinforcing Eurocentric spiritual authority.
However, without the Atlantis myth, we are left with a much more genuinely African wisdom tradition—one that bears no resemblance to the Hellenistic lens through which Europe viewed Egypt.
The Erasure of Black Figures in Egyptian and Sumerian Texts
The original presence of “black-headed” or dark-skinned figures, a significant detail in early Sumerian, Akkadian, and even Egyptian sources, is conspicuously absent in European reinterpretations of these texts, notice?
Texts like the Emerald Tablets are not protected from this mindset. Early Sumerian texts refer to their people as sag-giga, which means “the black-headed ones,” indicating an explicitly dark-skinned population.
Similar references exist in early Egyptian iconography and religious descriptions. However, European interpretations of these ancient civilizations rarely acknowledge these aspects, instead portraying ancient Egyptians as lighter-skinned, blondes with blue eyes, ETC ETC , childishly favoring iconography that resembles European physiognomies without thought of a future where this will be globally ridiculed by 'even' the simplest of their genetic strain.
This selective erasure compliment and are in sync with a time immemorial colonial agenda that sought to downplay African contributions to world civilization, replacing indigenous African imagery with European ideals. In texts like the Emerald Tablets, the omission of references to “black-headed” figures supports a whitewashed narrative of Egyptian mysticism, distancing ancient wisdom traditions from their African origins.
Thoth’s Warning to “Betray Not My Secrets to the Men of the North”
The Emerald Tablets contain a warning attributed to Thoth:
“Betray not my secrets to the men of the North or the men of the South, lest my curse fall upon ye.”
In the context of ancient Egypt, “the men of the North” likely referred to cultures from the Mediterranean and Levantine regions, while “the men of the South” referred to those farther into Nubia, maybe Nigerians [hahaha RFLMNAO just joking ]
but seriously Thoth’s caution here suggests an awareness of cultural appropriation and misuse, suggesting the need for careful stewardship of wisdom in the face of diverse and potentially exploitative influences.
This warning becomes particularly significant, poignant when considering how the Emerald Tablets, and much of Egyptian knowledge, were ultimately seized, translated, and rebranded by foreign forces—precisely what Thoth’s warning appears to discourage.
The European Misappropriation of Kemetian_Egyptian Wisdom
European adaptation of the Emerald Tablets is emblematic of a broader historical trend of appropriation and alteration. Aleister Crowley, one of the most prominent Western occultists, based much of his philosophy on “Hermetic” wisdom, presenting Thoth’s teachings as reimagined for a European audience. His influence, along with that of Masonic and Rosicrucian orders, led to a European esoteric tradition claiming to channel ancient Egyptian wisdom. However, this Europeanized “Hermeticism” bears only a distant resemblance to the original Egyptian teachings and serves as a European reinvention rather than an authentic preservation.
Groups like the Nazis, who based part of their Aryan ideology on the mythical Atlantis, also exploited this altered version of Thoth’s teachings. Heinrich Himmler, in particular, used Atlantis as part of the Nazis’ justification for the “Aryan master race.” The Ahnenerbe, a Nazi research institute, was established to trace the origins of this so-called master race back to Atlantis, a theory they considered evidence of European superiority. Thus, the European reinterpretation of Thoth’s teachings and the Atlantis myth provided ideological fuel for the Nazi agenda, contributing to the devastating consequences of racial pseudoscience and the loss of millions of lives in the Holocaust. The corrupted Atlantis narrative was wielded as a justification for European supremacist ideology, ultimately undermining any authentic Egyptian wisdom that may have once existed in these teachings.
The Influence on “Out-of-the-Box” Modern Researchers
Modern researchers like Graham Hancock, Sedona Truthers, New age ''noticeably white'' groups and others have often referenced sunken Atlantis or based their “alternative history” theories on texts like the Emerald Tablets.
However, their reliance on a European-circulated, compromised version of the Tablets complicates their findings. By failing to account for the historical distortions embedded in the European version of these texts, such researchers unintentionally reinforce the same colonial narratives that obscure genuine non white or non European contributions to ancient knowledge. This reliance perpetuates a Eurocentric interpretation of world history, unwittingly keeping intact the Western prestige that originally shaped these narratives.
May I suggest to you that:
the Emerald Tablets of Thoth that exist in the public sphere today are part proof to centuries of European appropriation, distortion, and rebranding of Egyptian and African knowledge. Through selective editing and cultural reframing,
Even European occultists '?' and mystics '?'
[ perhaps in this vein best described as missionaries ]
replaced authentic Egyptian symbolism with myths and modern words like “Atlantis,” erasing the original contexts. The story preserved in these texts reflects a European agenda that, rather than honoring the wisdom of Thoth, manipulates his teachings to confer authority on European mystical traditions and bolster ideologies of racial hierarchy.
A critical reexamination of the Emerald Tablets shows the consequences of this colonial rewriting—both in reinforcing harmful ideologies and in framing, continuing a vision of world history that marginalizes non-European sources of knowledge.
If we're looking for true inner_standing, we must look beyond the corrupted, prostituted and distorted texts available today, recognizing that the public version of the Emerald Tablets represents a compromise rather than an authentic reflection of Thoth’s wisdom.
