European imperialism during the Age of Exploration created the rise of white supremacy by establishing systems of racial dominance. They needed to tell some people they were better than their economic and class comrades, lies about  genetic superiority were cooked up  in order to recruit so many Irish, Welsh, poor Dutch, Germans of the lowest order into committing gross crimes against fellow sentient hueman beings simply based on skin colour 

The conquests of the Americas, Africa, and Asia were justified through a racial hierarchy that placed Europeans at the top of everything for starters, morals, education, history, spiritualism even genetics. 

This ideology permeated through slavery, colonisation, and even into modern geopolitics, where Western powers often dictate terms to the Global South.

The Alien Conundrum

As humanity knows contact with extraterrestrial beings is imminent, unavoidable, not even project bluebeam, i'm talking about real McCoy  perhaps within the next 35 years, we must confront the  lunacy, the delusion of grandeur inspired by a never explored or qualified sense of entitlement , the lunacy of inviting outside scrutiny to a planet plagued by inequality, violence, and environmental destruction.
