Mature Vision of Advanced GOD Civilizations -"How Humanity Can Surpass our So-Called gods/ goddesses, Because of Human Potential"

If we consider the likely behavior of a true Type 1 or beyond civilization, the contrast with mythological gods is stark. Such an advanced society would prioritize stability, collaboration, and humility, having likely transcended internal strife and ego-driven behaviors.

The grandiose titles and demands for worship seen in ancient myths—"The Grand Lord of This," "The Supreme Lady of That"—appear almost comically juvenile when juxtaposed against the humility and efficiency expected of a truly advanced civilization.

Potential Beyond the so called Gods

The idea of the Anunnaki as extraterrestrial beings who terraformed Earth or genetically engineered humanity is an interesting one, a very captivating narrative sourced from interpretations of ancient Mesopotamian mythology, particularly the works of Zecharia Sitchin.

However, this position, Sitchin's is not supported by mainstream archaeology or historical scholarship. Most of the evidence cited—mythological texts, ancient artifacts, and speculative interpretations—remains unverified within the mainstream scientific community.

Timeline of Humanity and the Anunnaki's Supposed Role

Modern humans, or Homo sapiens, in our current anatomical form, have existed for approximately 200,000 to 300,000 years, as evidenced by fossils such as those from Jebel Irhoud in Morocco, dated to about 300,000 years ago. Cultural and behavioral modernity, characterized by symbolic thinking, advanced tools, and art, appears to have emerged much later, around 50,000 to 70,000 years ago.

This period, sometimes referred to as the "Great Leap Forward," marks humanity’s remarkable acceleration in cognitive and cultural development.

In contrast, the speculative notion of the Anunnaki suggests they existed for hundreds of thousands—if not millions—of years and allegedly used their advanced knowledge to influence or create humanity. If their lifespan stretched thousands of years, as some myths imply, one might expect their accomplishments to be far greater given such a significant temporal advantage.

However, much of what is ascribed to the Anunnaki—combustion technology, conflict, and hierarchical systems—suggests they themselves might have been limited in their advancements relative to the potential of higher-order civilizations.

Kardashev Scale and Civilizational Potential

The Kardashev Scale, a method of measuring a civilization's technological advancement based on its energy usage, classifies societies as follows:

Type 0: A civilization that harnesses primitive energy resources, such as fossil fuels, equivalent to modern humanity.

Type 1: A civilization that can fully harness the energy of its home planet.

Type 2: A civilization capable of utilizing the energy output of its entire star (e.g., through Dyson spheres).

Type 3: A civilization that can control the energy of its entire galaxy.

Based on descriptions in ancient texts—whether Sumerian, Vedic, or other mythological sources—there’s little to suggest that the Anunnaki were beyond Type 0 or, at best, an early Type 1 civilization.

Their reliance on war, hierarchical power structures, combustion-like technologies (implied in descriptions of vimanas and explosive battles), and apparent emotional immaturity hints at a society that had not transcended its own internal conflicts.

Human Potential vs. the Gods

When compared to humanity's relatively rapid progress—advancing from cave-dwelling to space exploration in a mere 70,000 years—the achievements of the Anunnaki, as described, seem underwhelming. Humanity’s exponential growth in knowledge, technology, and culture suggests that, given the right circumstances and continued evolution, we may have the potential to surpass the so-called gods who allegedly created us.

My idea finds subtle resonance in religious and philosophical texts.

For instance, the biblical statement, "Is it not written in your Law, 'I have said you are gods'?" (John 10:34) and Jesus's proclamation, "You will do even greater things than these," suggest a potential in humanity that exceeds even divine archetypes.

Juvenile Behavior of Mythical Gods

A comparative analysis of deities across cultures reveals strikingly human-like flaws in their behaviors:

Mesopotamian gods like Enlil and Enki exhibit jealousy, rivalry, and anger, with episodes such as the decision to flood the Earth driven by petty grievances.

Hindu deities, despite their profound wisdom, often engage in cosmic battles and exhibit explosive tempers, as seen in texts like the Mahabharata.

Greek gods, too, are renowned for their capriciousness and vanity, frequently interfering in mortal affairs for personal gain.

Such depictions paint these gods as emotionally volatile and ego-driven, resembling adolescents in their inability to transcend personal vendettas and desires for dominance. This raises the question: if the Anunnaki and similar entities were real, could their development have been similarly stunted by internal conflicts or an inability to harness their full potential?

Were the Anunnaki Also "Tweaked"?

If humanity was genetically or behaviorally “tweaked” by external forces, as some theories propose, it’s worth considering whether the Anunnaki themselves might have been subject to similar modifications by a higher intelligence. Indeed, Mesopotamian myths occasionally refer to a "Creator of All" who stands above the pantheon.

For example, Enki, in the case of the flood, receives a dream-like warning from an emissary of a higher god—suggesting that even these so-called gods were subject to forces beyond their understanding. This corresponds  with many religious traditions that reference a prime mover or ultimate creator, suggesting that all beings, regardless of their advancement, remain part of a grander cosmic hierarchy.

Mature Vision of Advanced Civilizations

If we consider the likely behavior of a true Type 1 or beyond civilization, the contrast with mythological gods is stark. Such an advanced society would prioritize stability, collaboration, and humility, having likely transcended internal strife and ego-driven behaviors.

The grandiose titles and demands for worship seen in ancient myths—"The Grand Lord of This," "The Supreme Lady of That"—appear almost comically juvenile when juxtaposed against the humility and efficiency expected of a truly advanced civilization.

Could the Anunnaki—or other mythological creators—have been explorers whose prolonged space travel or isolation drove them toward egocentrism and instability?

If so, it might explain their need for worship and sacrifice, behaviors reminiscent of psychological compensation for existential challenges faced in a vast and lonely cosmos.

While the Anunnaki hypothesis remains speculative, it creates interesting questions about humanity’s potential and the nature of divinity.

If humanity can continue its upward trajectory, overcoming internal divisions and harnessing energy and knowledge responsibly, we may surpass the achievements of our so-called creators.

Our rapid progress over tens of thousands of years suggests that, despite our shorter lifespans and apparent setbacks, we hold the capacity to evolve into a truly advanced civilization—perhaps one day becoming the very "gods" we once worshiped and revered. Isn't it written ye are gods and goddesses in your holy books?
