Many stoneage Yoruba/ African cultural practices WILL DEFINITELY dis-empower, decommission/ disable FOR a global platform any child raised solely on their data without modern 'External Functions''. Parameter reducing Africa Stop tryna claim the ones who rejected you to survive

These issues have, in many cases, created an environment where Africans and their descendants have struggled to compete on a global scale in modern fields like aeronautics, equality, anti-misogyny, and quantum physics. The harsh reality is that cultures that excessively value tradition over adaptability fail to produce individuals equipped for global peerage in fields demanding modern innovation and thought.

Cultural Practices That Disempower

1. Excessive Deference to Elders and Authority

  • Observation: Many African cultures are short sighted, infact selfish and relative to the emerging future should be binned for it's cruelty aspect, including several from the Yoruba's that I know too well, most if not all without exemptions place a high premium on unqualified, automatic respect for elders and authority figures.
  • While this is cool for social cohesion, it can stifle critical thinking, it's self centered of the adults not to consider the future ripple effect on children, subjugation, undue influence and reverence, low self esteem programming, discourages unsanctioned innovation, and rejection of/ rebellion against outdated or harmful norms. It creates docile kids.
  • Impact: In environments requiring independent thought and questioning—hallmarks of scientific and creative breakthroughs—this deference is dangerous, a toxic disadvantage.
  • Example: The reluctance to challenge harmful traditional practices, like the brutal beating, gross worst form of child abuse relative to global standards disguised as disciplining of children. Children are sent to school to learn indeed born as blank slates, they they are physically violated by adults, sometimes lowly paid / unpaid teachers do I need to summon Fred of the Flintstones to try decipher this logic, even among educators who should be at the forefront of this time immemorial continental child abuse, these so called educators who beat babies over the slightest excuse in class, inclusive ADHD babies ================ Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects a person's behavior]================ are these child abusing people even aware of such? I Doubt it, they should all be in jail before the corrupt politicians are even mentioned in my reality, whats the education about? Subjugation.

2. Harsh Child-Rearing Practices

  • Observation: The saying “spare the rod, spoil the child” is deeply ingrained in many African societies. Physical punishment, verbal abuse, and humiliation are common parenting tools.
  • Impact: This often creates trauma, low self-esteem, and a lack of confidence, which are barriers to global achievement.
  • Example: Studies have shown that harsh discipline correlates with mental health issues, reducing the potential for children to thrive in competitive, innovative fields like quantum physics or aeronautics.

3. Misogyny and Gender Inequality

  • Observation: Many African societies have patriarchal structures that limit opportunities for women and girls. Practices like child marriages, female genital mutilation, and restrictions on education for girls undermine half of the population’s potential.
  • Impact: How can a society claim global contributions when half its population is systematically disempowered?
  • Example: Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai (Pakistani) is globally recognized for fighting for education. How many African cultures would produce such a figure, given their restrictive norms?

4. Mysticism Over Science

  • Observation: Many indigenous African cultures rely heavily on mysticism, spirituality, and unproven traditional practices. While valuable for cultural identity, they often overshadow empirical science and logic.
  • Impact: Societies rooted in superstition may struggle to compete in global technological and scientific fields.
  • Example: Western medicine, based on scientific research, has far outpaced traditional healing practices in saving lives and addressing complex health issues.

5. Lack of Strategic Modernization

  • Observation: Indigenous cultures often fail to adapt their traditions to align with modern global demands. Instead of evolving, they sometimes cling to outdated rituals.
  • Impact: This resistance to change prevents meaningful participation in industries like aeronautics, AI, and quantum physics.
  • Example: Countries like Japan have seamlessly integrated traditional culture with technological modernity, something most African societies have struggled to do.

6. Weak Educational Systems

  • Observation: African educational systems, often rooted in colonial legacies, fail to support indigenous excellence or global competitiveness. Additionally, families and cultures sometimes prioritize survival over education.
  • Impact: This results in a lack of global African representation in groundbreaking fields.
  • Example: Compare the global dominance of Indian and Chinese professionals in STEM fields with the underrepresentation of Africans.

"Africans Can't Take Credit for These People"

  • The African diaspora that excels globally—figures like Wole Soyinka, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, or even Black Americans like Maya Angelou and Barack Obama—has largely done so despite, not because of, African cultural practices. Diasporic success often stems from exposure to systems, ideologies, and environments that value individuality, creativity, and equality.
  • Promote Critical Thinking: Challenge outdated norms and practices that stifle innovation and creativity. Cultures must allow for questioning and change.
  • Invest in Education: Overhaul systems to prioritize STEM, critical thinking, and global relevance while maintaining cultural pride.
  • Empower Women and Children: Dismantle patriarchal and abusive practices to unlock the potential of the entire population.
  • Modernize Cultural Narratives: Cultures must evolve to see traditional values as complements, not alternatives, to modernity.
  • Global Collaboration: Engage with and learn from other successful models without losing indigenous identity.
