Better Technology, Superior Organization, and Strategic Warfare Could Defeat God and His "So-Called Chosen People" as Proven in the Bible

Your Civilization Is Determined and Guaranteed by the Strength of Your Combat Weapons, Not in How Much of an Imitation European or Oyinbolized You Are… Dear Africans

I know your suffering and your poverty (but you are rich), and how you are blasphemed and slandered/

Throughout history, the idea that divine favor alone determines the outcome of conflicts has been repeatedly challenged by the raw power of superior technology and strategic warfare. Even in the Bible, where God is portrayed as the ultimate force behind the victories of His chosen people, there are multiple instances where military technology, superior organization, and well-planned strategies dictated the results of battles—often against the Israelites themselves.

Let's examine several biblical examples demonstrating that military strength, not divine intervention, has always been the key determinant of power and survival.

Africans must understand that their civilization’s security and future lie in their ability to master combat technology and strategy rather than in futile attempts to imitate European cultural standards.

The Chariots of Iron (Judges 1:19): When Technology Trumps Divine Favor

One of the most striking examples of technology overpowering divine will is found in Judges 1:19:

"And the Lord was with Judah, and he took possession of the hill country, but he could not drive out the inhabitants of the plain, because they had chariots of iron."

Despite divine backing, the Israelites could not defeat their technologically advanced enemies who wielded iron chariots. This suggests that military technology—rather than faith—was the decisive factor in war. The Canaanites, armed with superior iron weaponry, effectively resisted the Israelite conquest. If faith alone were enough, the Israelites should have overcome any obstacle. Instead, their lack of comparable weaponry rendered them powerless.

Defeat at Ai (Joshua 7): Tactical Weakness and Internal Corruption

After achieving a significant victory at Jericho, the Israelites suffered an unexpected and humiliating defeat at Ai. The biblical explanation attributes this loss to Achan’s hidden sin of stealing from the plunder of Jericho.

However, beyond the religious justification, this incident highlights the reality that internal corruption and lack of strategic planning can doom a supposedly divinely favored force. If military supremacy truly rested solely on divine will, the Israelites should have won regardless. Instead, their failure at Ai proves that poor leadership, weak tactics, and disorder can lead to catastrophic losses, even for those who claim divine favor.

The Philistines and the Ark of the Covenant (1 Samuel 4): Misplaced Faith in Superstition Over Military Power

The Israelites believed that carrying the Ark of the Covenant into battle would secure them victory. Yet, they were decisively crushed by the Philistines,

who not only defeated them but also captured the Ark itself.

The Philistines held an iron monopoly, while the Israelites were still relying on bronze weapons (1 Samuel 13:19-22). This illustrates that spiritual artifacts, no matter how revered, are powerless against superior arms and military organization. The Philistines’ technological edge was the true factor in determining victory.

The Arameans’ ‘Mountain God’ Argument (1 Kings 20:23): Recognizing Military Strategy Over Theological Assumptions

When the Arameans reasoned that the Israelite God was only powerful in the mountains, they planned to engage Israel in the plains, believing this would nullify their enemy’s divine advantage. Although Israel won this particular battle, the mere fact that the Arameans considered battlefield geography as a determining factor indicates that war was understood in strategic rather than purely spiritual terms. The Arameans displayed the rational thinking that many Africans must embrace today—understanding that geography, tactics, and technological preparation define victory, not blind faith.

The Assyrian and Babylonian Conquests: The Ultimate Defeat of the ‘Chosen People’

The most undeniable proof that military superiority outweighs religious claims is found in the destruction of Israel and Judah by Assyria (722 BCE) and Babylon (586 BCE). These empires obliterated God’s supposed chosen people, proving that better weapons, superior military strategy, and organized governance are what truly determine the fate of civilizations.

Lessons for Africans: Power Comes from Strength, Not Assimilation

For centuries, many Africans have been conditioned to believe that civilization and progress come from imitating European culture, rather than from mastering the art of warfare and technology. Yet, history—including biblical history—proves that survival and dominance are secured through superior combat strength, not through cultural assimilation.

The Israelites, despite their claims of divine favor, fell repeatedly to technologically superior enemies. The same lesson applies today: Africans cannot rely on external forces—be they religious, cultural, or economic—to guarantee their future. Instead, they must invest in technological advancements, strategic military development, and self-sufficient governance. A civilization’s strength is determined by its capacity to defend itself and project power, not by how well it imitates the colonizer’s ways.

Reclaiming the Power of Strategy and Technology

The biblical examples examined above serve as undeniable proof that military technology and strategic warfare have always determined the rise and fall of civilizations. Divine favor is a weak excuse when faced with superior firepower, organization, and tactical execution. Africans must reject the illusion that cultural imitation or religious devotion will secure their place in history. Instead, they must focus on developing superior technological and military capabilities to safeguard their future. Power and civilization are guaranteed by strength, not by passive faith or imitation of foreign ways.
