...and Why You Will Never Feel at Home on Any Other Planet But Your Home World
You Are a Cosmic Refugee
There is an ancient story that has survived in fragments across countless worlds.
It has never appeared in a history book, yet echoes of it can be found in mythology, religion, folklore, esoteric traditions, and the recurring dreams of people who have always felt that they do not truly belong here.
According to the legend, long before Earth was formed—long before our Sun was born—there existed a peaceful civilisation among the stars. It was centred within a magnificent cluster of worlds connected to the regions we now know as Orion, Sirius, Lyra, Vega, and neighbouring stellar systems.
These worlds were not united by conquest or empire. They were united by wisdom.
Their people had mastered sciences that modern humanity is only beginning to imagine. They understood that consciousness and the physical universe were inseparable, and they had learned to live in harmony with the living intelligence that flowed through creation itself. War had become almost unknown, not because they lacked strength, but because they had evolved beyond the desire to dominate others.
That age of peace came to an end when an expansionist civilisation emerged from deep space.
Known in ancient records only as the Vorakai Dominion, they believed that power belonged solely to those strong enough to seize it. Their society was built upon absolute hierarchy, conquest, and consumption. They did not simply invade worlds—they enslaved them. They harvested entire civilisations for resources, labour, and even the life force of conscious beings. Wherever they conquered, cultures disappeared, histories were erased, and freedom became impossible.
Their greatest weapon was not merely military technology.
They possessed the ability to wage war across multiple dimensions simultaneously.
They attacked planets physically.
They attacked minds psychologically.
They attacked societies spiritually.
They manipulated time, memory, and perception, causing entire populations to forget who they had once been.
Against such an enemy, the peaceful worlds had no choice but to unite.
From Orion came disciplined defenders.
From Sirius came navigators capable of travelling through higher dimensions.
From Lyra came diplomats and philosophers who preserved unity among hundreds of species.
From Vega came the Keepers of Memory, whose responsibility was to ensure that truth survived even if worlds did not.
Together they formed the Galactic Concord, an alliance dedicated not to conquest but to the protection of free civilisation throughout the galaxy.
The conflict that followed became known simply as The Orion Wars.
It lasted for ages beyond human comprehension.
Entire solar systems became battlefields.
Stars were extinguished.
Worlds vanished from existence.
Civilisations millions of years old disappeared forever.
Eventually, the leaders of the Concord realised that victory was no longer possible.
Their worlds could not all be saved.
Their people could.
Using technologies that united advanced physics with a profound understanding of consciousness, they began what later generations would call The Great Dispersion.
Instead of sending refugees aboard starships, they scattered consciousness itself throughout the universe.
Across countless planets, dimensions, and timelines, survivors were born again into new lives.
Many eventually found themselves on Earth.
Most remembered nothing consciously.
Yet something remained.
An unshakable feeling of homesickness.
A longing for a place they could never name.
A sense that this world, however beautiful, was never truly home.
Many found themselves strangely uninterested in wealth, status, or power, sensing instinctively that they had witnessed civilisations far greater than any measured by money or material possessions. Instead, they searched for wisdom, truth, beauty, compassion, and meaning—without fully understanding why.
According to the legend, these scattered survivors became known as Cosmic Refugees.
Not because they were chosen.
Not because they were superior.
But because they were the descendants of a civilisation that no longer existed.
Whether this story is history, mythology, symbolism, or something that exists beyond current human understanding is left for each reader to decide.
But if you have spent your entire life looking at the stars with an unexplainable longing...
If every success on Earth has still left you feeling that something is missing...
If you have never truly felt that you belonged anywhere...
Then perhaps the question is not:
"What is wrong with me?"
Perhaps the question is:
"What if I have been searching for a home that no longer exists?"
Perhaps...
You are a Cosmic Refugee.
