Certain topics resolve themselves. Certain questions that once puzzled PhDs and the crème de la crème of society now feel so obvious that even a child could answer them. Something is shifting in human awareness.

Take alien abduction and non-terrestrial contact. Mainstream scholarship, even when it doesn’t openly mock the claims, usually folds them into “internal projection.” It insists there is no way the experience could be external. Meanwhile, parts of the UFO community do the opposite: they treat some internal phenomena as if they were solidly external events that “really happened.” 

Both camps, if you step back, quietly imply the same hidden assumption—that contact cannot be both internal and external at the same time.

That assumption is the real problem.

A sufficiently advanced non-terrestrial civilization should be able to walk into Wembley Stadium, contact one person—spiritually, physically, or both—dislocate them into another dimension or craft, and leave the other 80,000 spectators completely unaware. 

There are already accounts that point in this direction: well-known television personalities describing being lifted out of their bodies into a spacecraft while their partner slept beside them, oblivious. People sitting with their families when “green men” appear, yet the rest of the room remains untouched. These reports are not anomalies; they are clues.

If contact is only physical, it becomes hard to take seriously in an age when even human science is exploring quantum possibilities, cloaking, phase-shifting, and mind-controlled interfaces. 

We are already building cars that respond to thought. Imagine what a civilization millions or billions of years ahead of us could do—replacing someone with a temporary clone, altering local perception, operating vehicles that respond purely to consciousness. Our current technology is cargo-cult level by comparison.

The only coherent resolution is that authentic contact is simultaneously internal and external. 

Telepathy is already an internal channel, and nearly every credible account includes it. While physical events may be unfolding—crafts, translocation, whatever technology is involved (call them merkaba, Vimana, or anything else)—an internal dialogue is also taking place.

It is like a radio station: if you are not tuned to the right frequency, you receive nothing. An advanced intelligence should be able to tune out a million people and lock onto one.

This is not exotic speculation. It is the only model that dissolves the false either/or that both academics and fringe believers have been locked inside. Once you see it, the contradiction disappears. Contact that is only one or the other is dubious. Contact that is both becomes almost inevitable.

That is the obvious point almost no one is saying out loud.
