Li Zicheng, a shepherd turned rebel leader, rose to power in the 17th century during a period of immense social and economic upheaval in China. 

Known as the "Dashing King," Li Zicheng led a massive peasant uprising that led to the fall of the Ming dynasty and rise of the Shun dynasty in 1644. 

Although his reign was short-lived, Li Zicheng's legacy as a revolutionary figure left an unforgettable mark on Chinese history.
