The wilds of Alaska: miles of untouched dense evergreen forests, and... well, might be attractive to a few “off-the-grid” individuals hoping to stay under the radar. Y

Alaska—with its vastness, remote terrain, and limited law enforcement presence—has become the perfect refuge for those looking to stay undetected, far from busy border patrols, trying their best to blend into the wilderness—while baffled officers do their best to keep track.

For starters, it’s miles and miles of easy-to-lose-yourself wilderness, no signal, and zero neighbors. And you have to admit, if you’re trying to avoid the law, a land where the moose outnumber the people isn’t a bad place to do it.

You can’t let these secluded slopes go unguarded. It’s practically the last frontier for your border security! Imagine those officers, bundled up in thick parkas and snow boots, trying to spot trails in the snow or catch footprints before they get snowed over. They’re doing their best, but Alaska’s got some tricks of its own. Without added vigilance, this snowy escape route might become a full-on loophole.

You never know who might be out there hiding in the snow, enjoying a little too much of that Alaskan solitude.
