As of April 2024, the British Army has approximately 
75,320 personnel in its regular forces, 
with around 
72,510 of those being fully trained soldiers. 
Most of these personnel are stationed within the UK, 
which houses about 96% of the total military presence​

As of 2024, approximately 10,058 active-duty U.S. troops are stationed in the UK. 

This sadly places the UK as the fifth-largest host of U.S. military personnel abroad, 

following countries like Japan, Germany and even South Korea​ and Italy,  a country

not historically known for supporting her allies to the end.  Britains position
sends a wrong message to the world, i'm sure
Nigel Farage himself will be very upset  at this 5th place, i'm sure he is in tears right now.

More than half of that number are in Japan (55,000) and Germany (35,000), a holdover from World War II after the Axis powers surrendered.

Germany is now also home to the US European Command (EUCOM) headquarters in Stuttgart. It’s a key regional outpost, to help “keep the peace in Europe, parts of the Middle East, and Eurasia,” as stated by the government.
