An Open Letter to Cultures That Have Failed Their Own Children
There comes a point where excuses no longer pass for wisdom. We live in a world where every secret once hidden behind “tradition” can now be undone by a five-second Google search. Yet some cultures still hide behind inherited mediocrity, pretending poverty is destiny rather than design.
Let’s be honest: life is Monopoly. Civilised nations understand this — they give their citizens a fair start. They fund education, healthcare, and ideas, not because they’re “soft,” but because they know a nation that invests in its people multiplies its strength.
Then there are the others — the crude nations — where leaders and elites steal Indomie from the mouths of their citizens and call it governance. They hoard wealth, build palaces, and then preach patience to a starving generation. They tell their people that survival itself is a debt owed to the state. What madness.
If you do not give your children a start, to hell with you. You’ve betrayed the first duty of civilisation — continuity. You’ve turned the future into a raffle ticket and wonder why your brightest leave or burn out.
The era of excuses has ended. The world is open-source now. Every culture can see how others built theirs. No one can claim ignorance — only cowardice or corruption. The question remains: will you continue to eat your children’s inheritance, or finally build something that outlives your own shadow?
Because history has stopped forgiving those who do neither.
