Cracker Barrel, '' They pose as defenders of freedom globally, beyond Cracker borders, yet when someone they don’t identify with want Freedom—they suddenly become the loudest defenders of state or global violence.''

What’s happening right now is simple: a man followed the law, exercised a constitutional right, surrendered, raised his hands, held up his phone, and still ended up dead. Pepper‑sprayed, beaten, shot, and then shot again while already on the ground. His “crime” was trying to protect a woman who was falling. That’s it. That’s the whole story.

And yet, somehow, there are people—loud people—defending this. People who twist themselves into knots to justify a killing that would be obvious murder if it happened anywhere else, to anyone else. They mock him, insult him, call him names, invent excuses, anything to avoid admitting what’s right in front of them.

The hypocrisy is staggering. These same voices show up at protests openly carrying rifles, sometimes military‑grade weapons, and brag about their “rights.” They stormed the Capitol with guns. They posture as defenders of freedom. But when someone else exercises the same rights—someone they don’t identify with—they suddenly become the loudest defenders of state violence.

And here’s the real difference: people with a functioning moral compass—Black, white, Latino, Asian, Muslim, Christian, atheist, whatever—can look at this and say, “Hold on. This man surrendered. He wasn’t attacking anyone. He was helping someone. Why was he killed?” That’s the baseline of humanity.

If the roles were reversed—if the victim had been someone they personally supported, even a member of a group they normally defend—they would be screaming for justice. They would be furious. They would be demanding accountability. Because the principle is simple: when someone surrenders, you don’t execute them. Even Islam, even ancient warrior codes, even basic decency says that.

But the people defending this killing aren’t operating on principle. They’re operating on tribalism, fear, and prejudice. They’re so invested in their worldview that they’d rather defend a killing than admit the system they worship can be wrong. They’d rather attack the dead man than confront the brutality they’re enabling.

And that’s why this is bigger than politics. Bigger than left or right. Bigger than identity. A human being was slaughtered with less dignity than livestock in a Western abattoir. And instead of outrage, some people respond with memes, insults, and excuses.

That’s the sickness. Not the man who died. Not the people demanding justice. The sickness is in those who look at a clear injustice and choose to cheer for it out of cowardice and blind political party loyalty.
