He identifies himself not as an external idol but as a state of consciousness distributed across humanity — a field, a presence, a latent capacity.

This is precisely why non‑mainstream spiritual traditions — New Age mystics, metaphysicians, occultists, esoteric Buddhists, Kundalini theorists — insist that “Christ” is not merely a person but an evolved mode of human awareness. In their reading, the Jesus narrative is a symbolic physics lesson: a metaphysical law personified, dramatized, and historicized so that ordinary minds can grasp it. It is as if someone took gravity, turned it into a character, and wrote scripture around its behavior.
