POTUS with family connections to King John of England, including relatives Obama/ Joe Biden: Trump [ the coincidence of royal lineages [DNA] across centuries. ]

King John of England,

also known as John Lackland, was born on December 24, 1166, and reigned from 1199 until his death in 1216. He was the youngest son of King Henry II and Eleanor of Aquitaine and was not initially expected to inherit the throne. John became king after the death of his brother, King Richard I (Richard the Lionheart).

John's reign is often characterized by conflict and controversy. He faced numerous challenges, including disputes with the nobility, loss of territories in France, and tensions with the Church. His heavy taxation and autocratic rule led to widespread dissatisfaction among his subjects.

One of the most significant events during his reign was the rebellion of the English barons, which culminated in the Magna Carta in 1215. This historic document limited the powers of the monarchy and established certain legal rights for subjects, laying the groundwork for modern concepts of democracy and due process.

After John’s rejection of the terms of the Magna Carta, a civil war ensued, resulting in the barons’ temporary success. John died on October 19, 1216, and was succeeded by his young son, Henry III. King John’s legacy is mixed; while often depicted as a tyrant, his reign also contributed to the development of constitutional principles in England.
